Configure how the Administrator connects to the Internet?

By default, Ticker Tape Administrator uses the same settings configured within Internet Explorer to establish a connection to the Internet when checking for software updates or communicating with remote FTP/HTTP-based Sites.

While these settings are normally fine, depending on your infrastructure and connectivity configuration, it may be necessary to provide the Administrator software with a particular configuration to use. To do this, launch the configuration dialog via the Tools / Configuration menu choice on the main Administrator interface and click the Administrator Settings tab;

Here you can choose whether the Administrator software will use your Internet Explorer ('system') settings or specific a particular connection method such as communicating through a 'Proxy' server with particular credentials.
